Twenty-one years of non-stop pure and contagious German Heavy Metal. Here the history of one of the coolest bands that I have the pleasure to listen.Still more that the German are adepts and practitioners of the art of drink BEER (sacred drink to human beings called headbangers). Twenty-one years of metallic delight, without concessions to the current emergent market, Thrash/Heavy direct like a good punch from Mike Tyson on your best times.

1 - Iwant begin talking about the album B-Day that is simply magnificent. What do you have to say on this beautiful work? 

Gerre - Yeah, we worked together with Andy Classen, (farmers guitar player of Holy Moses) for the very ridge Time and we were really satisfied!!! The sound is fantastic!!! 

2 - The music ìVoodoo Boxî of talc about at magic punches capable to accomplish desires. If you were able to at seeks fights, which would your desire be? 

Gerre - I would wish to live in Bermuda...............hahaha 

3 -  What did take Tankard to invent and to execute the call Alcoholic Metal? 

Gerre - At that Time in 1985 there were at plumbs of different Metal styles growing up like Speed Metal, Black Metal, poser etc according to we precisely did at joke out of it and called out second demo alcoholic metal. Since thesis days we got that child of image and we never get rid of it................. 

4 - Did I feel that Tankard is more animated, is that due to the fact of of the producers change, or to other reason it doesn't look? 

Gerre - Everything is sounds more fresh, that is really at result of changing the producers, but I think the songs on B-Day are better than on kings of beer for example. 

5 - I have in mind that the music is the reflex of the musician's spirit. I can affirm like this that you at this time are of waves with the life. But, about 3 years ago Tankard did go by several problems, would you be able to a little on that?? 

Gerre - I had some of problem with the voice, according to I had to take at rest. But now everything is of O.K. again. You must know, Iím of necessary the youngest anymore... ..hahahah 

6 - Germany something always at factory of excellent metallic bands, mainly of Thrash Metal. Would you know how to answer me which the reason of the appearance of several bands of Thrash?   

Gerre - Ah I really donít know, here were always at plumbs of metal fans, according to there is at place for Thrash Metal too. BUT I CAN´T TELL YOU REALLY AT REASON, SORRY! 

7 - Thrash something in drop, but it is having at revival of this scene. The doeís gymnastics of excellent bands ace Nuclear Assault after at long Time without activity. Will it be that Thrash went bakes with all your force to be? 

Gerre - Hopefully, if there wants be at Thrash revival, Tankard is here since 21 years, we never gave up and changed our styles!!!! 

8 - You always stayed followers to the roots, unlike bands that are pay by some changed, for instance the (Metallica). What dozes make you if they maintain followers to the so styles? 

Gerre - Everybody can do what the want, itís of necessary to me to talks about other bands. We precisely play the music coming out of our hearts and that is Thrash!!! We never took care about what is in the music scene and we did always our own thing. 
 

9 - I can say that Tankard is ace at good beer, because it is traditional and all of us leave cheerful. Do you agree?

Gerre - Yeah, thank you very much!!!!! 

10 - You execute at Thrash Metal excellent, very functional of necessary leaving space for inventions very less inconvenient inserts of the modern Time. What do of the metallic bands finds what they use modern artifices (electronic)? 

Gerre - As I told you everybody can do what they want, it think we would necessary use thesis modern artifices, but I personally like the sound of in flames or Soilwork very much. 

11 -  How do you sea the scene metal anuses more than 20 long years of Metal? 

Gerre - Ah, in the beginning Metal something really special, there were necessary according to many magazines and releases, everything something New and the scene something small. Nowadays Metal is at normal music direction, but Iím quietly really into it!!!! 

12 - In the scenery Thrash which the bands that deserve prominence for you? 

Gerre - I like bands like Exodus, Exciter, Kreator, Sodom, Destruction................ 

13 -  After this wonderful album,  which the of plan of Tankard? Do you already think about recording at new album? 

Gerre - At the moment we write songs for the next album coming out in March in Europe on AFM records!!!! The title is: " Beast of Bourbon ". 
 

14 - In relation-hip ace tours where wants fit you? Are you thinking about a to come South America?   

Gerre - We really would love to come for the very ridge Time. Theyíre something no offering till yet, but we really try everything to come. 

15 -  Which your message for the Brazilian fans? 

Gerre - As I know that theyíre quietly at plumbs of thrashers in Brazil, we hope to come over to party together with you!!!! Keep on thrashing and diving!!! Cheers!!!!
